Goat's Milk Soap

All of our soaps are made with the finest ingredients including:

Coconut Oil for rich lathering
Palm Oil for a hard, long-lasting bar
Canola Oil for moisturizing properties along with essential fatty acids, vitamins & minerals
Olive Oil for mildness
Jojoba for skin conditioning
Cocoa Butter for richness
Goat's Milk to moisturize and neutralize the pH of your skin
Herbs and Essential or Fragrance oils to stimulate your senses

Why Goat's Milk? Milk has been used for centuries to soften and gently cleanse the skin - remember Cleopatra and her milk baths? Goat's milk, in particular, is chock-full of vitamins and has the same pH (acid/base) balance as normal skin. It is also very mild and non-irritating to sensitive skin.

Our soaps are made the old-fashioned way -- cold-processed, combining oils and lye in order to retain all the natural glycerine created during the saponification process. The soap is then poured into molds for a day to harden and continue the saponification process, then removed from the mold, cut to size and they continue to air dry on wooden racks for at least four weeks.

Do you feel the need to use "Anti-bacterial" cleansers? Guess what - "real" soap kills just as many germs as the anti-microbial cleansers on the market because the pH of soap is too high for most bacteria to tolerate. But, it's just right for your skin and you don't have to worry about creating "super-germs" by using the anti-bacterial cleansers!

As with all natural soaps, keep the soap out of standing water or the shower spray and your soap will stay hard and last a long, long time.
